The world’s first Fender flagship store is set to open in Harajuku at the end of June, taking over H&M’s old retail space near Takeshita Street. This store will be spread over four floors and will be a must-visit for guitarists and music lovers.
You’ll find acoustic guitars on the first basement floor, plus an event space where workshops and events will be held. There’s also a Fender café on this floor run by Verve Coffee Roasters.
The ground floor is home to noteworthy items such as new products and signature models. There will also be a selection of fashion pieces from Fender's Japan-made apparel brand F is for Fender.
Head to the second floor for even more guitars, including bass models made in America and Japan. You'l also find other equipment such as amplifiers, which you can even test out in the special soundproof room.
Finally, the third is dedicated to the Fender Custom Shop, where you'll find the brand's premium instruments. If you're a serious musician, you can book an appointment for a custom order to create your dream guitar.
