Time Out says

If you've been looking for a reason to visit Machida, here's the best one you'll get in a while: first held in spring 2016, the Saikyo Ramen Fes is now gearing up for its second edition and is set to go even bigger than last year. 60 noodle shops from all across Japan will assemble at the Shibahiro park from late March to early May to serve extra-delectable ramen, tsukemen and maze-soba (ramen without soup). Ten shops will be present on each long weekend, with the stalls rotated after every Sunday to give you an excuse for repeat visits. And with a spin-off 'Gyoza and Fried Rice' festival going on right next to the noodle area, everything looks set for a real soul food feast.
