Time Out says

The pizza shop that would one day become inspiration, aspiration and muse to pie-makers citywide and beyond first opened in 1965. Today, its original location still stands in Brooklyn, with another shop at South Street Seaport. Whole pizzas are available with tons of topping options, and squares and slices are on the menu, too.
