This year’s whimsical yet refined presentation of mooncakes for Mid-Autumn Festival gifting is inspired by the Chinese folktale of the noble Moon Rabbit – the rabbit companion of Chang'e, the Moon Goddess, presented in colorful and stylish interpretation according to the imagination of the artist, whose designs have been featured in many glossy fashion magazines and for global brands such as Rimowa and BMW.
Th package, which includes bright diagonal hot pink and lime green striped modern box wrapped in an origami-like bag, boasts images of the goddess’s fluffy loyal rabbit and symbols of prosperity such as peony and jade plant to extend love, respect and appreciation to the recipient. The set comes with four varieties of mooncake, namely the traditional lotus seed with egg yolk, the all-time favorite durian with egg yolk, the decadent creamy custard, and the sweet and fruity cranberry, all packed individually.
