It’s been a long time coming in Geneva: vintage and secondhand for men. Owner Christophe has been working with luxury brands for years so you can find an impressive range of top names including Gucci, Burberry and Ralph Lauren, plus a dedicated Armani section. Both Downtown and sister store Uptown believe strongly in socially responsible fashion and only work with brands with traceability, hence a cool range of t-shirts from American Apparel. Downtown also has its own funky Pâquis Beach range, designed in-house. The store is right in the heart of the urban Paquis district and the motivated staff give you no excuse not to pop in – they will even reimburse your boat fare from the main shopping centre across the lake and give you a drink when you get there.
