We’ve all become a bit more cleanliness-conscious over the last couple of years, and our airports have caught on. But which air hubs have the squeakiest floors and the freshest bathrooms?
An annual report by Skytrax is here to tell us. It’s ranked airports from all over the world on their cleanliness based on customer satisfaction surveys, and there’s one region – and one country, in particular – which totally wipes the floor with the rest.
Japan’s Haneda Airport has reclaimed its title as the cleanest airport in the world for no less than the ninth year, but four more of the country’s hubs, including Tokyo Narita and Kansai, rank in the top ten, too.
Seoul Incheon claims second place, and Singapore Changi claims third. The only appearance from Europe is made by Zurich in spot number 10, but nowhere in North America or the UK makes the cut – here are the ten that did.
