Norwegian alt-pop sensation Marie Ulven – better known as girl in red – will be making her Singapore debut at Esplanade this July. This is the musician’s first-ever Asia tour, and she will also be making stops at Japan’s Fuji Rock Festival and South Korea’s Incheon Pentaport Rock Festival 2024.
Best known for her dreamy pop sound, the singer-songwriter rose to fame in 2018 with the single we fell in love in october, which garnered over one million streams on Spotify alone. Since then, she has amassed over 10 million streams on her 2021 debut full-length album, if i could make it go quiet, as well as open for Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour in 2023. Expect a night of chill, lo-fi music mixed with the dynamic and poppier tracks from girl in red’s latest album I’m Doing It Again Baby! at her upcoming concert.
