Down a narrow soi, the pick of Yannawa's waterfront seafood restaurants serves every seafish, shell and crustacean combo in the Thai repertoire. Set simply in an old teak stilt house on a pier, it harbours views of ocean-going ships.

Good, no-frills seafood eatery; deep-fried sea bass especially delicious. Excellent value; service is lackadaisical but friendly. This is where upper-class Bangkokians go when they're more interested in having a good meal than being seen in the right places.
