A British journalist and feminist activitist who was named Liberty Human Rights Campaigner of the Year in 2013, it seems Criado-Perez might just know her stuff in an age where women are still struggling with what it means to be female in cultures where power, privilege and often basic freedoms are often synonymous with being a male.
In this talk, she tells us about the many individuals that are working to reinvent that dialogue - from the first woman to cross the Antarctic alone, a female fighter pilot in Afghanistan and a climate change activist to a Chilean revolutionary turned politician, Russan punks who stood up to Putin and the Iranian journalist who dared to uncover her hair.
