More acts have been added to the line-up for Nothing Ever Happens Here, a new gig series taking place at Summerhall. The latest supporting acts beef up what was already an incredible headline roster, and looks like this:

Mar 26 – Broken Records, with support from Garden of Elks and Fuzzy Star
Apr 2 – Paws, with support from Algernon Doll and Le Thug
Apr 8 – Minerva Scientifica, as part of the Edinburgh International Science Festival
Apr 23 – James Yorkston, with support from Pip Dylan and Matt Norris
May 1 – Lost Map showcase featuring Rozi Plain, Eagleowl and Supermoon (ex-Meursault)
May 6 – RM Hubbert, with support from Lypsync for a Lullaby and Tisso Lake
May 7 – Randolph's Leap, with support from The Son(s) and Book Group
May 9 – Teen Canteen (pictured above) present ‘The Girl Effect’ for Scottish Women's Aid, featuring Machines in Heaven, Broken Records, Solareye, Eugene Kelly and many more.
May 10 – Khartoum Heroes (ft King Creosote), with support from Adam Stafford and C Duncan
May 14 – The Phantom Band, with support from Jonnie Common and Man of Moon
May 21 – Honeyblood, with support from Jesus H Foxx and MC Almond Milk (aka Jamie Scott of Conquering Animal Sound/Carbs)

We think you'll agree it's a pretty special line-up (we're especially excited about the gigs on May 14 & 21), so credit to the Summerhall team and Jamie Sutherland of Broken Records for putting it together. Given that the organisers have promised 'a selection of DJs and other events to be announced', we're keen to see how all those empty dates fill up, and we're also pleased to hear that 'Nothing Ever Happens Here will continue all year round including every weekend during the Festival Fringe'.

For the mean time though, this pretty impressive line-up will do. Tickets for the announced gigs cost £10 and are available at summerhall.co.uk.
