Duck down a smelly alley off the Cowgate, look left to see where the Cowgate fire of 2002 claimed one of its biggest scalps in the shape of defunct club La Belle Angele, then turn right. Through a door is GRV (formerly the Green Room Venue), a multi-floor fun palace that houses a club and various art spaces. The plethora of nights is headlined by gay-friendly long-runner Taste.
