The City Restaurant

Essentially a fish and chip shop with a fairly extensive and traditional café attached, the menu here includes dishes like omelette, pasta, pies, pizza, sausage and mash or even unreconstructed gammon steak with pineapple, chips and peas. Alternatively there is always fish and chips to eat in or take away. The City is old fashioned, dependable, very handy for the Festival Theatre and opens daily until 1am.
