Edinburgh Playhouse review Rate it
Run by global entertainment conglomerate Live Nation, the 3,000-seat Playhouse is the regular home for touring West End musicals such as Mamma Mia! and We Will Rock You. The Edinburgh International Festival regularly uses the auditorium, the largest of its kind in the UK, for bigger dance and opera productions, while grown-up rock stars and big-name comedians treat the Playhouse as a stopping-off point: Anthony and the Johnsons and Ricky Gervais have both visited recently.
