P Tinto's Miracle (1998)
Director: Javier Fesser
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Somewhere between the stylish fantasy of Delicatessen and the brainless gusto of Dumb & Dumber, this comedy makes up in pizzazz what it lacks in subtlety. P Tinto is an imbecile who inherits a business in communion wafers somewhere in the middle of nowhere. He has with him his wife, who is blind ('No woman had ever looked at me like that before'), and who is as ignorant of sex as he is. Their attempts to procreate are fruitless, until a couple of Martians crashland in their backyard. What follows is very silly, outrageous, and (if you're so inclined) unreasonably funny.Author: TCh
