How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days (2003)
Director: Donald Petrie
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Andie (Hudson) works for 'Composure' magazine, compiling first-hand 'How to' articles on having great orgasms, trimming thighs, being a better person. She'd rather write 'How to bring peace to Tajikistan' (really!), but a job's a job and her latest project is to prove that by making dating mistakes, she'll get a guy to dump her. Coincidentally, her target, cynical advertising man Benjamin (McConaughey), has just bet his boss he can find a girl to fall in love with in 10 days. The talented Hudson gives her best, but one-dimensional characters and a daffy plotline stretch little more than our credulity.Author: JFu
