He's Just Not That Into You (2009)
Director: Ken Kwapis
Movie review
From Time Out London
The ‘He’s Just Not That Into You’ theory will need no introduction for ‘Sex and the City’ fans: the episode in question even inspired a book. The idea is that if a guy doesn’t call after a date, he’s just not that into you. Full stop. (Or, ‘period’, as this Baltimore-based comedy would put it.) Serial dater/stalker Gigi (a delightful Ginnifer Goodwin) has trouble accepting this, and turns to playboy Alex (Justin Long, bit of a stretch) for relationship advice. But could Alex be the one she’s looking for? Meanwhile a cast of surprisingly big names play out other scenarios: Ben Affleck doesn’t want to marry Jennifer Aniston, Jennifer Connelly’s husband cheats with Scarlett Johansson, etc.Initially, observations about male and female behaviour are fairly accurate and entertaining. But this fails to quit while it’s ahead, running more than two hours and repeating its point in patronising fashion. But it remains a respectable self-help comedy for women too young to have worked the idea out for themselves.

- Posted on Feb 26 2009 13:16 It was not bad, it's quite funny. It's one of them movies where everyone in the theatre laughs our loud together. Good fun.

I'm a little nervous that the only people who thought it looked good were those who typed out their comments in 'text' language. Not that I would ordinarily stereotype but I'm guessing they're young and/or gullible.
Guessing it's a bit of a no brainer then. Ah well, I'm taking the lady I work for so if it is rubbish, I'll take my blanket with me and have myself a nap! Thanks guys. - Report as inappropriate

- Posted on Feb 18 2009 00:10 suburban middle class americans are having their usual relationship problems with mediocre acting with a huge star cast playing bit roles ,an overcrowded script and rather cheesy dialogues -a very immature thirty something version of sex and the city -i think the only person who was convincing was scarlett johansen -otherwise it was just dull and dubious and painted men and women as just indulging in sex or shopping as if there is nothing else in middle class suburbia to do -yes everyone was also imbibing huge amounts of alcohol too -rather jaded and not so clever as it was pretending to be or was meant to be
