The latest from the writer-director pair of Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer – responsible for such movies as ‘Epic Movie’ and ‘Meet the Spartans’ – is  a cynical and limp attempt to cash in on their own parody bandwagon. Here, the shameless duo use a ‘Cloverfield’-type scenario as an excuse to chuck in yet more of their favourite movie moments and characters, irrespective of any connection to the disaster movie genre.

The result is a series of extraneous, deplorably unfunny scenes and sketches stitched together in completely haphazard fashion. One minute we’re aghast at an appalling Amy Winehouse lookalike with sabre teeth and bedraggled beehive, the next pondering the relevance of a scene with the cattle-gun killer from ‘No Country for Old Men’. In short, this wholly contemptuous farrago stinks to high heaven.

  • The 12A cert is inappropriate. I was deceived by the 12A cert and teailer of the Hulk into thinking this was suitable for children.How can refences to abortion by knitting needle and selling babies on the intenet be suitable for small childre, I walked out. It was utter rubbish.

  • ong all use are idiots its an amazing film if u have a sense of humour yes its a tiny bit random but who care if ur youngish u will love it so go watch it but if ur old and grumpy u wont so DONT instead sit at home watching INSPECTER MORSE or somthing and dont go writing bad reports on a gd film just because u r a old grump. SORRY IF ANYONES FELLING R HURT IN THE MAKING OF THIS REVIEW.

  • Rating of 12A misleading. I believe it is very inappropriate viewing for a 12 year old, with constant sex inuendos, swearing and reference to alcohol and hard drugs and violence.

  • The worst film I have ever seen and, I am fairly sure, the worst I will ever see. I fail to see how anything this dreadful could ever be conceived again. I went with little enthusiasm because my partner wanted to see it, but it managed to fall miles below even my exceedingly low expectations. It is so purile it's not true. I came out wishing I could have the previous hour of my life back. I ave given it one star because the system does not allow none to be awarded. In truth, I feel a zero mark would be far too generous.

  • If you enjoyed meet the spartans, epic movie, scary movie etc. and laugher, you will really like it and laugh. But some people don't find that funny so if your one of there people - DONT WATCH IT! I enjoyed it anyway!
