Backstage musical with Baxter as a burlesque producer from the wrong side of town who tries to make it big on Broadway. Mona Barrie is the leech-like socialite who marries him, then bleeds him dry of all his cash. Alice Faye is on hand to soothe him back to success in the final reel.
