This comic tale of a Serbian ex-gangster turned gay rights campaigner maintains a successful balance between lowbrow gags and moral satire. The film follows two couples, one straight and one gay, whose lives become entwined through a series of bizarre coincidences. Gangster Limun has to help the gay couple, who are involved in organizing a pride march, from being attacked by homophobes (and the film backs up its message with real footage of a man being brutally attacked at an attempted pride march in 2001). Along the way the two couples find friendship and discover, as Limun rather tactlessly states, 'when it comes to love there's no difference between a criminal and a faggot'.
