Everything really is awesome if you’re a fan of The Lego Movie, as two of the film’s stars are making an appearance in Manchester.

Emmet, the everyday hero of the film, and streetwise Master Builder Wyldstyle will be visiting the Legoland Discovery Centre at the Trafford Centre every weekend until July 26 as part of their first visit to the UK.

Kids – and big kids – can meet the two stars, see screenings of 'The Lego Movie' and take part in a range of activities including protecting the Miniland Manchester from the dreaded Micro Managers, a treasure hunt and the opportunity to build your very own Piece of Resistance.

Emmet and Wyldstyle will be appearing at intervals each Saturday and Sunday at 11am, 1pm, 3pm and 5pm while the film will be shown at 10am.

We're sure Lego fans of all ages will find it, as they say in the film, awesome.
