An outdoor ice skating rink is to return to Manchester this winter – in a new location.

Manchester Ice Rink will this year move from its previous home in Spinningfields to New Bailey in Salford, close to Salford Central station. From Thursday November 12 to Sunday January 3, the rink will be open to the public with a viewing platform for those who would rather just watch.

Tickets to skate will be £9 (off peak) or £10 (peak) for adults with discounts for student nights and family tickets also available, and it’ll be open from 10am-9pm on weekends and 3-9pm during the week.

It’ll be part of a festive hub at New Bailey with fairground rides, festive choristers, DJs, themed sessions and family entertainment.

Manchester Ice Rink, Thursday November 12-Sunday January 3 2016, New Bailey, Irwell Street, Salford, M3 5EN.
