Time Out says

Part of Manchester International Festival

MIF15's ambitious adaptation of the Jonathan Safran Foer novel 'Tree of Coeds' brings together the choreographer Wayne McGregor, visual artist Olafur Eliasson and Mercury Prize-winning producer/composer Jamie xx to create a contemporary ballet inspired by the book.

Whilst Jamie xx is no stranger to MIF, having been 'in residence' with The xx for MIF13, both Mcgergor and Eliasson will be new artists to the throng, both bringing considerable reputations with them, as you'd expect.

What we can expect from their collaboration will be quite something. Eliasson is an artists able to create an increadible atmosphere by transforming space, (if you recall his Weather Project at Tate Modern which created a glorious sun inside the Turbine Hall), and McGregor, who will be working with his own Random Dance company and members of the Paris Opera Ballet, always excited with his choreography. Combined with the musical brilliance of Jamie xx, 'Tree of Codes' roots seem alreadt to be very well formed indeed.
