Museo d'Arte e Scienza review Rate it
A unique, mature and fascinating museum, primarily exposing fraudulent works of art - and the scientific techniques involved. With detailed explanations in English, the underground rooms line up fake weapons, icons, paintings and more; the ethnographic collection is superb.
Don't miss the secret tunnel to the Castello in Room 14. Upstairs, you're invited into the working research labs, established in 1993 to authenticate international art. There are also permanent exhibitions devoted to da Vinci's life and work.
