Tea For Two at Suffolk House

Time Out says

A high tea is perfect for those always skipping lunch. Suffolk House, cleverly, offers this daily after they close their lunch menu at 2:30pm. Consisting of six different teas to choose from, the 3-tiered tray arrives with a variety of two cakes, cucumber and salmon sandwiches with crusts off, freshly baked scones and homemade, individually sized chicken pies. For the vegetarians, you’ve got the option to opt for their Jerusalem artichoke pie, instead.

The scones are served warm and will be accompanied by comforting strawberry jam, exotic pineapple marmalade, politely tangy apple ginger compote, familiar cream and unsalted butter. As for the tea, for those wanting to break away from the usual of English Breakfast, Darjeeling, mint or Earl Grey, it might be an idea to tease your palate with Morgentau with its hint of fruity green tea or even chamomile with hints of orange petals. Although, the Creamy Orange tea gives out such lovely notes of vanilla.

Bear in mind the high tea is served for two and it is quite safe to walk in for a table on their lovely patio on weekdays. However, it is advisable to call for reservations for weekends on the contact below. Su Aziz
