The Penang International Skimboarding competition will ring its sixth year at Naza Talyya Hotel. A relatively new boardsport that features a mix of surfing and skateboarding, the competition will see skimboarders across the continent perform new tricks on the waves. Participating countries include Australia, Brunei, Hong Kong, Singapore, Philippines, The United Kingdom and more. This year's event will introduce a new category called 'Stand Up Paddle and Surf Race'.
Registration closes on Sep 14 at Seawind Motel & Bistro (next to Naza Talyya). The competition kicks off on Sep 15-16.
