Full of Beans may be far from winning the popular vote for casual coffee hangouts but this cool cafe is slowly providing more reasons to win those votes. Here, the baristas take their beans seriously and work quietly behind an open-air laboratory of coffee-making apparatus from siphon or vacuum pot to Japanese drip pack coffee.
Now, the surprising thing about this place is, they have coffees ranging from RM8.50++ to RM45++ per cup. Their beans are so specific that each cup you order tends to bring pure satisfaction. On their menu, there are coffee beans from Africa for their nutty Special Blend, the still active Yasur volcano for their Tanna Vanuatu coffee and the Jamaican Blue Mountain for the very intense and very expensive cup of joe.Their iced coffee are unique in that it is cooled by iced coffee cubes to ensure zero dilution.
To match their potent but utterly addictive coffees, is the romantic and dim lights that partially illuminate the place and results in a cosy ambience. Rest your eyes on one of their shelves of merchandise and you may be tempted to create a coffee laboratory of your own with a purchase of available coffee mills, turkish pots and other funky coffee aparatus.
What's more, there are unique, quirky things to watch out as your coffee is being served. For instance, take note of the coffee spoons while you're stirring in your sugar and milk, and you'll see what I mean! Su Aziz
