Penang Bon Odori Festival

A traditional and merry Japanese festival that is celebrated with dance and lively drum performance to welcome the homecoming of ancestral spirits, the carnival-like atmosphere at Esplanade is made even merrier with stalls selling a variety of local and Japanese street snacks, drum performances, Japanese folk dance, Shamisen performance, karaoke session and firework displays (at 10pm).
