This is a friendly neighbourhood place for the Mariatorget crowd of well-to-do journalists and artists. Food is straightforward and usually very good, and it's a pleasant place to have a bite to eat and rub shoulders in the crowded but relaxed bar.

Formerly Bistro Sud was good. Now the service was ridiculously bad: flippant, lazy, and forgetful. The food was mixed: no bread, nice salad with former frozen "fresh" tuna, double-salted calf liver, excellent entrecôte, but not nearly worth the price of 365: -. Overall, far too expensive prices for a menu that would have seemed fresh a decade ago. In addition, there was a musty smell in the room.
