Fans of J-pop will have heard about Atarashii Gakko!, a new generation female group that subverts the stereotypical image of a girl group. Atarashii Gakko! will be embarking on their world tour, and beginning their Asia leg in Bangkok, followed by Hong Kong, Taipei, and Singapore.

Where *Scape The Ground Theatre
Elephant Gym, a math rock trio from Kaohsiung, Taiwan, will perform in Singapore this June 21, 2024, at *Scape The Ground Theatre. Other Asian countries they will be pit stopping at include Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok.
The trio, comprising KT Chang on vocals and bass, Tell Chang on guitar and keyboard, and Tu Chia-Chin on drums, was founded in 2012 and quickly rose to fame for their distinctive musical style that fused elements of math-rock, post-rock, and jazz.

NCT Dream is set to perform in Singapore for two nights on June 29 and 30, 2024. This is part of their 2024 NCT Dream World Tour, marking almost one year since their last show in May, 2023. Other cities they will be pit-stopping at include Seoul, Manila, Osaka, Tokyo, Jakarta, Bangkok and Hong Kong.

K-pop fans are in for a treat this year, with popular groups and artists like IU, NCT Dream, and Aespa scheduled to perform in Singapore. To add on to the ever-growing list of concerts happening on our sunny island, Hwasa will be performing at The Star Theatre on June 22, 2024, as part of her first fan concert tour, titled Twits – a nod to both her solo debut single and affectionate nickname for her fans.

Where Esplanade
Alt-rock trio Hitsujibungaku will be performing in Singapore at the Esplanade on July 3, 2024. This is part of their Asia tour, which includes pit stops in other cities such as Kuala Lumpur, Manila, and Hong Kong.

Where The Star Theatre
Hip-hop-R&B-inspired Japanese girl group XG will be bringing their first world tour, The First Howl, to Singapore. They will be taking the stage at The Star Theatre on July 16, 2024. This follows their last performance at Singapore’s recent Formula 1 race. Other than Singapore, The First Howl world tour will also travel to other cities including Osaka, Seoul, Taipei, Jakarta, Manila, Bangkok, among others.

Popular K-pop boy band Super Junior will be performing in Singapore on July 14, 2024, at the Singapore Indoor Stadium. This is part of their 2024 Super Junior Super Show Spin-off: Halftime Asia tour. Other cities they will make a pit stop at include Seoul, Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh, Kuala Lumpur, Taipei, Hong Kong and Jakarta.

Mark the date 20 July, as that's the Singapore performance date announced in an Instagram post on the official group account on February 19. The show is part of Aespa's LIVE TOUR – SYNK: Parallel Lines tour that will see them performing in Korea, Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Indonesia, Thailand, and Australia, with potentially more destinations to come.

American singer-songwriter Teddy Swims is set to perform at the Capitol Theatre on July 23, 2024, together with his band Freak Freely. This is part of his Teddy Swims: I've Tried Everything But Therapy Tour, which will start in Singapore and move to Manila.

Texas-born singer-songwriter Conan Gray is bringing his Found Heaven On Tour tour to Asia and Singapore is on the list. He is set to take the stage at the Singapore Indoor Stadium this September 1, 2024.

Icelandic jazz-pop singer-songwriter Laufey is taking her Bewitched tour to Singapore. She will be taking the stage at the Singapore Expo on September 4, 2024. Other cities she will be performing at include Tokyo, Osaka, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong, Taipei, Manila, Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney.

Following their show in August last year, the American indie pop duo LANY is making a return as part of their a beautiful blur: the world tour. Scheduled for September 20, 2024, the band is set to perform at a different venue this time – the Singapore Indoor Stadium.

American rock band The Maine has announced that Singapore will be one of the stops on their upcoming tour, The Sweet Sixteen Tour. They will be playing for two nights, on September 24 and 25, 2024, at the Gateway Theatre and *SCAPE The Ground Theatre respectively. And Day 2 will be a treat to the OG fans – The Maine will be performing their entire debut album Can't Stop Won't Stop from 2007, alongside a selection of their other popular tracks.

Singapore is truly on a roll – Dua Lipa will be joining the list of exciting acts this 2024. She is set to perform at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on November 6, 2024. This is part of her Radical Optimism Asia Tour that will pit stop at other cities too including Jakarta, Manila, Tokyo, Taipei, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok and Seoul. She last performed in Singapore at her sold-out show at The Star Theatre in 2018.

English indie rock band Bombay Bicycle Club is set to perform in Singapore on November 21, 2024, at the Capitol Theatre. This show marks their comeback to Singapore after ten years since their last performance in 2014.

We’re barely halfway through 2024, and concert announcements for 2025 have already been released. American dream-pop group Cigarettes After Sex will be performing at the Singapore Indoor Stadium in February 3, 2025, making it the third time the group has performed on our sunny island. The group previously played sold-out shows at the Capitol Theatre in 2017 and 2023, and has a huge, dedicated fanbase – and for good reason.
