Beachside Hotel will be reopening with a fresh new look and feel this summer on Nantucket.
Blue Flag Capital, the team behind popular Nantucket hotels like Life House and Faraway, has completely renovated and redesigned Beachside, turning it into a seaside family-friendly resort.
The hotel will feature upscale, oversized suites, single family hotel rooms, open-air balconies, a newly constructed pool and kid’s pool, gym, meeting space, courtyard, restaurant and bar, and game room perfect for the whole family to enjoy.
“The Beachside Hotel was designed around the idea of an endless summer. We invite guests to leave itineraries behind and dive into a world of opportunities right here on the property. With that in mind, we designed the hotel to cultivate this connection through recreation for guests to collect spontaneous moments to slow down and savor with friends and family alike.” Said Brad Guidi, Co-Founder and CDO of Blue Flag. “We focused on creating outdoor spaces where discovery is limitless. This self-driven experience is all part of the story. I think we can all relate to the first taste of freedom that summer offered us as children – that was the feeling that we tried to evoke at the new Beachside. We wanted to offer a space where children and their parents alike would equally enjoy the property.”
One of the best parts about this new version of Beachside, is all the daily programming the team will host. From movie nights on the lawn to communal fire pits, guests will be able to unplug and experience Nantucket at its finest with friends and family all on the property.
“Whether you're spending time with your family, friends, or neighbors, Beachside is designed to delight you all; with immersive hangouts, tucked-away hideouts, and a richness of relaxation that will make every moment feel like a never-ending summer. It’s a tranquil getaway just a short jaunt to Jetties beach. Most importantly, family is at the center of everything we do here at Blue Flag, and as the father of three wonderful young children, we wanted to create a place where all can enjoy without sacrificing the highest levels of experiential design and hospitality.” said Jason Brown, Co-Founder & CEO of Blue Flag.
The design of the rooms are retro in the chicest way. And to offer guests something different, the color palate is a little more unique than what you would typically find in a Nantucket hotel. Instead of blues, you will find terracotta, gentle creams, dark greens, and natural woods—to create a warm, inviting, comfortable space for the whole family.
If you are getting as excited for summer as we are, defiantly stay tuned to hear more as we get closer to an opening date for the new and improved Beachside. But in the meantime start planning your trip to Nantucket with some help from our restaurant guide to the island.
