Bristol Americana Weekend: Larkin Poe + Police Dog Hogan

First taking to the stage in this double headline show is Police Dog Hogan, a folk/bluegrass group featuring The Guardian's Tim Dowling. They throw a good gig, and are also celebrated for their merch - Police Dog Hogan tea towel, anyone?

Joining them are Larkin Poe, a roots-rock band from Atlanta, Georgia fronted by sisters Rebecca and Megan Lovell. They've previously worked with the likes of Elvis Costello, Conor Oberst and T-Bone Burnett, and are fast becoming one of America's most loved exports.
