One of the city's main sites for festival-size concerts, these sprawling grounds have hosted the Red Hot Chili Peppers and the re-routed Lisdoonvarna festival. It has a capacity of 40,000, but while this is one of Dublin's longest-standing open-air venues, its main activity is showjumping, so food and drink facilities depend on each gig's promoters. Seats in the stands provide the best view, but standing on the grass in front of the stage means better sound.
