MacDonald Holyrood Hotel review Rate it
Opened in 1999 to capitalise on the other developments around Holyrood, chief among them the Scottish Parliament, the Macdonald has always had a business feel. There's a gym, a small swimming pool and beauty treatment rooms, but it's the exclusive Club Floor, with its upgraded rooms and views of Holyrood Park, that's the stand-out feature. The decor is a little bit dated these days, but the location makes up for it.
