The Edinburgh Night Ride

Part of the Edinburgh Festival of Cycling, this nocturnal bike ride (the original and the best, apparently) follows a 60-mile route through the city and beyond, into the scenic environs of East Lothian. Led by experienced ride leaders, it starts at Leith Cycle Co at 11pm and continues on til dawn, with stops for a snack (halfway) and breakfast (at the end). Over 16s only.
