The annual flaming first night of Scottish summertime comes around again, as Edinburgh’s Beltane Fire Society present their traditional fiery celebration on the summit of Calton Hill in emulation of an ancient Gaelic ritual.
This year marks the thirtieth anniversary of Edinburgh's Beltane Fire Society's Beltane celebration, so expect the most spectacular show yet, promising new fire sculptures, giant puppets, intricate costumes and, of course, even more pyrotechnics.
