Meadowbank Fireworks Display

A fixture on the Edinburgh calendar for 30 years now, the Meadowbank fireworks display is the closest thing the city has to an official fireworks display (though, given Edinburgh Castle's propensity for pyrotechnics through the Festival and Hogmanay, we find it slightly perverse there aren't any explosions in that area of the sky on November 5). Doors open at 6pm, with pre-show entertainment from 6.30pm and the fireworks themselves taking place from 7.30pm-8pm.
