Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Somewhat shy and naive, young Romek starts work in the costume department of an opera company, where his delusions about art are dashed by gossip, in-fighting, corruption and egomania. The troupe can easily be read as a metaphor for any large institution or country. What's most intriguing is the improvisational approach Kieslowski uses in his first full-length TV drama - mixing actors with real workers, allowing the story to emerge organically from the situations he observes. The ending has a real kick.Author: GA
