How to Be Very, Very Popular (1955)
Director: Nunnally Johnson
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Originally, Marilyn Monroe was pencilled in to partner Forces pin-up Betty Grable in this frantic comedy about two chorus girls who hide out in a boys' college to escape a murderer. When Monroe turned down the role, Fox's platinum blonde in reserve, Sheree North, was brought in as replacement. Johnson tries too hard to be as zany as possible, but North's outrageous dance routines make this well worth a look.Author: GM
