Movie review

From Time Out Film Guide

This compilation of his contributions to the notorious Série Rose made for French TV was Kümel's biggest commercial success to that point. The three erotic tales may have been adapted from work by Marguerite de Navarre, Nicolas Restif de la Bretonne and Guy de Maupassant, but the finished article loses its way somewhere between Emmanuelle and The Benny Hill Show. The film has its advocates, among them contributors to moviespank.com and the director himself, who regards it as a professional job well done, but most Kümel fans will regard it as a bizarre blip in a fascinating career.
