Superdad (1974)
Director: Vincent McEveety
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Disney film devoted to that timeless source of gags and nervous breakdowns, the relationship between father (Crane) and teenage daughter (Cody) just out of bobbysox into 36C cups. With its all-American storyline and cast, it recalls happier times when Eisenhower was in the White House and Hollywood had been given the Joe McCarthy seal of approval. There are signs, however, that subversion is reaching even such havens of security. Part of the plot turns around a strike, and one scene is actually shot on a picket line.Author: NJ
