Director: Daniel Mann
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Sophia Loren, Jewish survivor of a concentration camp arriving as an illegal immigrant in Palestine on the eve of Israeli independence in 1947, steps out of the packing-case in which she has been nailed up for a taxing sea voyage looking as fresh as a film star. Yes, it's that sort of movie, and it gets worse as she searches for the Nazi husband who denounced her, a wanted war criminal now training Arabs for the coming struggle. Terminally dreary as well as totally unbelievable.Author: TM
