Terror (1978)
Director: Norman J Warren
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Atmospheric camerawork and some bright dialogue provide momentary relief in what is otherwise stock schlock about a film-maker (Nolan) who inadvertently conjured a malevolent ancestral witch while making a movie about his own family history. Nasty things start happening when he previews it at a party; but echoes of The Exorcist tend to hang increasingly heavy over the proceedings, while Warren's direction administers the coup de gràce by persistently cutting to lip-licking close-ups of slashed or garrotted throats.Author: TM
