Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
A polished, eventful and very engaging road movie in which two friends, running a bus service from Dakar to Guinea, take an assortment of passengers through dangerous territory where tribal guerillas are fighting in order to get back a tribal totem currently in a French museum. The clientele - young and old, rich and poor, Muslim and Christian, black and white - bring their own problems and tensions, of course, so that the film becomes a kind of latter-day Senegalese Stagecoach, marked by fine droll humour, energetic performances and fluid, elegant camerawork.Author: GA
