Tramp, Tramp, Tramp (1926)
Director: Harry Edwards, Frank Capra
Movie review
From Time Out Film Guide
Langdon's first venture into features has echoes of Harold Lloyd (when our hero is dangling helplessly over the edge of a cliff), and concludes with a raging typhoon reminiscent of Keaton's natural disasters, but the bulk of the gags are wholly individual. Langdon enters a cross-continent walk to boost the local brand of footwear; Joan Crawford is the girl he can hug only if he crosses the finishing line first. After many strange convolutions, he does so.Author: GB
