Synopsis

This is the latest from American indie cinema's master of the dark suburban comedy, Todd Solondz, writer and director of such films as 'Happiness', 'Welcome to the Dollhouse', 'Storytelling' and 'Palindromes'. This is the story of an overweight and under-matured thirtysomething who lives with his parents (Mia Farrow and Christopher Walken!), works for their small business and has a disastrous love life, despite seeing himself fairly incongruously as one of life's 'dark horses'. An unlikely relationship with a woman played by Selma Blair offers him a chance to change his life.
