Movie review

From Time Out London

This romcom fantasy centres on a convoluted scenario of mistaken identity as it follows the fortunes of three Texan teens (Selena Gomez, Leighton Meester and Katie Cassidy) on holiday in Paris. When Meg (Gomez) is mistaken for an heiress, the girls go with the flow and find themselves among the well-to-do of glitzy Monte Carlo. But how long before they’re rumbled? Ridiculously contrived, superficial throughout and too sugary, ‘Monte Carlo’ is still too innocent and convivial to cast too many aspersions on.
