Time Out says

3 out of 5 stars
Bollywood’s Bond-meets-Bourne with catchy songs is a slick if somewhat soulless spy thriller. Indian Agent Vinod (Saif Ali Khan) is sent to Moscow to investigate the death of a colleague, which takes him on a globetrotting jaunt to Morocco, Latvia, Pakistan, Delhi and finally London. Along the way he encounters the mysterious mujra-singing Dr Ruby (Kareena Kapoor) and uncovers the ultimate conspiracy. The propulsive script has a knowing wit, and the movie is enormous fun. The plotting might creak on occasion, there are few genuine surprises, the obligatory romance feels forced and the main characters lack depth. But Khan’s kick-ass performance is spot-on, while Kapoor pouts perfectly. Ultimately forgettable, but overall it is efficient, entertaining and good-looking escapism.
