Christmas movies at the Theatre of Dreams

As much as you may despise the fact that Christmas is already in full force in November, now is the time to let go of your inner Scrooge and embrace the festive spirit. Even Man U is getting jovial, because from Friday December 19 until Christmas Eve the club is being turned into a massive drive-in cinema.

The LED screen will be the biggest one Manchester’s seen, and with three screenings a day there will be loads of films screenings to choose from. Yes 'Frozen' fans, Elsa will be on the big screen again, and yes the in-car karaoke after the screening means you’ll get to treat everyone to your best X Factor style rendition of 'Let It Go'. Other films include 'Elf', 'Home Alone', 'The Nightmare Before Christmas', 'The Muppet Christmas Carol', 'It’s a Wonderful Life' and 'Die Hard' (not quite as Christmassy as the rest).

There will be a street food market for your movie munchies, or if your bank balance has been obliterated by Christmas shopping in the Trafford Centre then you can also bring your own food and drink as long as it’s non alcoholic (we all know that coke’s got voddie in it, naughty!).

Oh and just a heads-up, the sound from the films will be streamed through your car radio on Santa FM so make sure your radio works. Tickets are 26 quid per car so gather up your mates and get ready for a festive film treat.
