Brickhouse review Rate it
Tucked under a railway arch, the Brickhouse is easy to overlook, but a shame to miss if you're looking for fun and nostalgia. The Blur-vs-Oasis-era music weeklies papering its corrugated walls set the tone for Friday's '90s indie night. Saturday's Mixtape braves the present day, albeit with one foot in the past, playing a mix of new indie releases and retro rock 'n' roll. Look out for the after-show parties held after local gigs.
