Cliff Richard isn't a name you'd normally associate with cutting-edge design. Yet the holy rock 'n' roller is part-owner of one of the hippest hotels in the city. The Arora is a vision of contemporary cool, with sleek, modern rooms and funky furniture. (Five Cliff-themed rooms feature artworks and objects from the singer's personal collection.) A visit to the hotel bar and fine dining restaurant, Obsidian, is a must.
